Wellbeing Programmes for Schools
Bringing movement, mindfulness and a little magic into your school community
School Wellbeing Programmes
Thrive and Flow sessions are built on trauma-informed practice and yoga-based wellbeing. This means we recognise that children’s behaviour, emotions and ability to focus are closely linked to how safe and settled they feel.
Sessions are calm, structured and predictable, helping children regulate, feel safe and engage at their own pace. Children are always given choice within sessions and are never forced to participate.
This approach supports all children, and is particularly helpful for those experiencing anxiety, low confidence or emotional dysregulation.
We work with primary schools in Bishop’s Stortford and the surrounding areas, offering sessions for Yrs 1-3 and Yrs 4-6, including mixed-age groups.Every session is safe, inclusive and age-appropriate, with activities adapted to suit the age, needs and energy of each group.
What Happens in a Session
-
Move & Play – yoga, movement, games and creative activities that build strength, balance and coordination.
-
Breathe & Settle – breathing, relaxation and mindful activities to support calm and focus.
-
Create & Express – storytelling, creative work and reflection.
-
Connect & Belong – group activities that build confidence and a sense of belonging.
Why It Works
Every child is different, with their own pace, personality and needs. Thrive and Flow creates a space where children feel seen, heard and supported.
By combining movement, mindfulness and creativity, children develop lifelong skills to:
-
Manage emotions and reduce stress
-
Improve focus and engagement in school
-
Build confidence and self-esteem
-
Connect with themselves and others
-
Feel calm, capable and comfortable in their own bodies
'These aren’t just yoga skills — they are life skills'.
