Primary School (Yrs 4-6)
Supporting Young Minds to Grow, Play, and Thrive Through Yoga.
Growing Confidence, Calm and Resilience

At Thrive and Flow, children in Years 4–6 begin to go a little deeper — building emotional resilience, independence and real tools for managing the growing pressures of school life.

Sessions are engaging, structured and age-appropriate, giving older children space to explore movement, strengthen self-awareness and develop the kind of quiet confidence that carries them through challenges both in and out of the classroom - currently serving Bishop's Stortford and surrounding areas

What to Expect

Sessions are energising, creative and genuinely enjoyable — the perfect way to shake off the school day.
Sessions may include:

-
Warm-ups and movement games — fun, lively ways to get the body moving, build strength and leave the classroom behind
-
Flowing yoga sequences — longer, more connected practices that challenge balance, coordination and body confidence in ways that feel satisfying rather than tricky
-
Breathwork — simple but surprisingly powerful techniques for handling stress, big emotions and those moments when everything feels a bit much
-
Mindfulness activities — short, practical and engaging — nothing weird, just tools that actually work for a busy Year 4, 5 or 6 brain
-
Deep relaxation — proper time to slow down and switch off — older children are often surprised by how much they enjoy this part
-
Reflection and journaling — short, thought-provoking activities that help children make sense of how they feel and who they're becoming
